I have seen a deer butt casually walking away through trees. All the squirrels that don't come around when I hunt them are showing up. Second shot heard this morning.

A single spike is all I have seen so far. He was steady on the move. Have only heard 4 shots, way off, 3 from the same location.

Just had pretty good buck slip behind me up the hill. He's headed toward my dad and I alerted him. Maybe he'll get a shot.

I actually have buck fever typing this. Haven't experienced that in years.

I'm back at the house now. Seen 6 does and a spike and coyote. Its nice living less than a mile from your hunting land.

Didn't go ,my son texted me last night at 9.50 and said he wouldn't be able to go so I just sat on the couch and watched the sunrise . Was getting excited about going but it happens now I know what he felt like when I would have to cancel out on him 15 years ago and he had to sit at the house.

Heard a shot about a mile away while it was still pitch black. Idiots!!!
Saw 16 hen turkeys and a bunch of squirrels 0 deer.
Beautiful morning to be in the woods weather was dang near perfect.
