I am looking forward to next season and I'm wanting to put in a food plot at my land in middle TN. What would ya'll recommend and when should I put it in?

I would post that question in the Food Plot Forum. But to fine-tune your question, what are you trying to accomplish with this food plot(s)? Are you trying to add high quality nutrition? Are you trying to produce a hunting season attractant to draw deer to your hunting property?

What are the soils like? What kind of exposure does it get? How big of an area are you thinking about planting? How close are you to agriculture? What equipment do you have?

Lots of considerations besides what do the deer like best. After you answer BSKs questions about your goals, then you narrow it down to what you are capable of growing, and the choice will probably be made for you.
