New Turkey Gun

Mossberg 500 .410 with a 24 inch barrel. I'm hoping this gun combined with handloaded TSS #9s will be bad medicine for some gobblers this spring!

I can't decide if I want to change out the stocks and order a Mossy Oak gun skin. I may leave it stock for now.

I killed two gobblers with my youth single shot 20 ga last year. I'm looking forward to the challenge this year!

Nice gun. Your goal shouldn't be no problem for TSS 9s. I'd consider straight 9.5s or a blend of 9s and 9.5s as well, assuming they're available between now and April 2.

None of the TSS loads I've shot (12 & 20 GA) kick anything like a typical commercially produced turkey load (Magblends etc).

i have a 410 and it kicks about as much as my 12 gauge
