New Turkey Vest - Pocket Question?

Zippers on my old turkey vest were sticking, so I bought me a new one. How does this pocket work? If I've got it right (picture #1), looks like a good way to lose a box call. My old one had a zippered pocket instead of this flap.

And what is that pocket inside the pocket supposed to be good for?

UPDATE: NEVER MIND. I FIGURED IT OUT.

You put the top(handle) of your box call in the smaller pocket, it keeps the box call from touching when walking and moving around and making unnecessary noise.
^^^ That OR just rotate the box 90° with the paddle on the top or bottom.

I feel like such a dumb 🫏! I thought the paddle was supposed to go in the little pocket, but the little pocket was stuck closed for some reason on the other end. When I put the handle in it, the call stuck out even farther than the pictures show. After messing with it, I realized this.

A little more messing unstuck the pocket and now the handle slides all the way through. I tightened the bungee clasp and the call is much more secure. I still like the zipper on the old vest better tho. More options for what can go in the pocket. And more room for more than just a box call.

Thanks for the replies.
