Last year they did the draw in the morning. But notification came by email throughout the day I think in alphabetical order. They must have manually copy and paste small groups of people to email. Because it took most of the day before everyone was notified. I imagine the people that get drawn get notified fist individually. Then they start letting everyone else know they were not successful.

Hey Ruger I got a gem of a blind just now. It's something called A4 at Tigrett. I'm 5 hours away from it in East Tennessee could you rebuild it and let me have my "more opportunity" lol
Don't worry TWRA is gonna rebuild it with a brand new $32,000 +/- blind and brush for you.
Too bad it's under three dead snags.

Will my blind come with a new shotgun, case of shells, pre rigged decoys, and heat. I'm just ready to drive that far and show up and whack and stack those greenheads that I see all over the internet but first I need directions on how to get there lol

Maybe me or one of my friends will get drawn for a blind.
You won't have to do anything but show up and eat. :D

You would have thought there would have been a post about it on their Facebook page. This is a pretty significant event and represents what used to be a bunch of large gatherings around the state. Even if they don't know when they can get the results out they could communicate as much and at least make mention that it is duck blind draw time in TN.

TWRA said it would be August 2nd. Shocker that they can't back up what they say on literally the 1st step of this new BS process if they do indeed not get it done today.

Can't speak publically about something that is being done under the table.

If that's truly the case that's f'd up. TWRA could at the very least take 30 seconds of their time to post on FB letting everyone know instead of letting everyone wait around excited for the results today.
