Well almost anyway.
Went to pick up decoys and get the blind out this morning.
Water was too deep to drive in (if you have any sense) and not really deep enough to jump the levee.
Started out with a fouled plug or two.

Not our first rodeo.

Got our blind pulled almost to the ramp and tied it off till we can get to the ramp with a truck.
Got the blind that was left on our spot last year pulled back in place and tied it off. That was the worst part of the day.

Weren't able to remove any of our motion poles as they were all under water.

Of course with the flooding and ice now I get to deal with this.

Gonna be real hard to do this all again next year.

Thanks for all the help @gasman and @cbhunter
You missed a good time @scn !!!!! 😂 bet you are super jealous!
After a long hot shower I'm done.

How do you guys manage with so few decoys? We usually have at least 600 out.
We have finally learned that with mediocre spots 300 or 1,200 the results are the same.
We have done the 1,000 plus every year and this year I just ran out of time or we would have had a few more out.
Went with quality over quantity this year.

How much water has to go before you can drive in to get it?
Well one idiot drove in while we were there.
Under the trestle it's cod sack deep but they will have to pump the other side out before we can pull the blind. It's probably 8' deep right now.
