They will never give up on Miami. It was much worse one time before, attendance dropped to around 2500 a game.
The lousy attendance reflects lousy play. The new ownership sold off all the talent or at least most and there was near zero in the Minors. I have no sympathy for the fans, they aren't fanatics at all.
I have no idea of how many seats were sold via season ticket holders. They had fewer than 9K in attendance. which does not mean anything if they had say 35,000 season ticket holders.
Atlanta did the same thing-bargained away their talent and then tried to sell Triple A ball-it did not work and Atlanta suffered through 3 years of miserable play. I personally do not believe Atlanta will end this year with an above 500 win/loss record. Right now, they are killing opposition provided the opposition does not fight back too much.

Braves just scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th to complete the comeback & walk off win.... crazy

Yep, saw the game.
Just an opinion, but the Marlin's manager is not so hot on winning games(never thought I'd say that).
The Miami pitcher should have been pulled-even my Atlanta Brave fan Son was screaming to pull the pitcher.
It was indeed an exciting game and when Swanson squared up i figured it was over, Atlanta lost. It was over alright, just a surprise ending.

Man this team is a fun one....
6-2 mets after 6 innings when I went to bed last night....
Woke up with a braves win & another walk off homer.
2ed walk off homer in last 3 games.

I cannot listen to the ESPN broadcast team.
I want to watch and listen to the game, not the near-constant yak. Drives me crazy.

But this was more of a The Hank Aaron Show with a baseball game going on in the background. They had former teammates call in during the game. It was surprising how little they actually talked about the game going on. I hope they plan on doing more broadcast like this with other Hall of Fame members.DaveB":2sjcs8m1 said:

Back to back wins with a walk off HR in the bottom of the 11th last night.
13 games over 500
Mets, Washington , and Philly all lost.
Braves now have a 3.5 game lead over philly going into game 78 tonight.
4 game lead over Washington , & a 13.5 game lead over NY.

The Braves continue to play very good baseball--lot of fun watching them because the defense is spectacular.
They have to do something about Teheran.
Would like to see them stretch that lead to 10 or 15 games.....
Will be in St Louis Fri-Sat-Sun for the Braves at Cards, will be a blast.

Matt Harvey looked a bit better. I think I am going to agree with the announcers, he is still recuperating from the Thoracic Outlet Surgery. Not everyone who has this surgery completely recovers and the 12 week estimate is a joke.
Anyway, the Braves lost. They need at least two reliable good pitchers.

Braves got the 3 game sweep against the cardinals over the weekend good series.
They are now 14 games over 500.
Going into game 83 tonignt, With a 3 game lead over philly
Got a 6 game lead over the nats & a 14.5 lead over the mets.
Interesting series with the Yankees start tonight.
