I spent a lot of time last year getting my Dragon Claw .50 cal Air Rifle set-up and optimized. I found the perfect bullet/sabot combination for some longer range accuracy and penetration. I plan to use it exclusively when gun season starts.

Anyone else plan to use an Air Rifle deer hunting this season?

Planning on it, but I sold my .457 Texan a few months back. Still haven't decided my next air rifle for deer hunting will be. Leaning towards the Winchester 70-45 but not sure yet, or even the Sam Yang 909s.

I plan on using my .457 Texan SS this year with NSA 240 gr. HP with the valve at full tilt boogie. 1"ish groups @ 50 yards. I have the 290 gr. as well but haven't run them over the chrony yet.

Yup. In the stand with it every sit. Just waiting on my target buck. Has eluded me twice over the past few days but hopefully third time will be the charm. Went with the 290 gr. NSA HP. Haven't punched meat with it yet but hopefully it will get the job done.
