I had a Bob Lee recurve. Traditional bows are all very different and you'll likely find yourself changing around until you find the style you like best. You'll get a better deal buying a used one. The used bows that you find on tradgang.com or on the leatherwall will be a better deal than buying new. Better yet is to find someone nearby that can help you out, you can shoot a few bows and narrow it down to reurve vs longbow etc. We have a group called the TN Traditional Archery Society with members all around the state, if you are interested we can likely put you in touch with someone near you.

Martin makes a good bow. I have a Martin Sabra that is similar to the Dreamcatcher.
