Weekend pull

This weekend was the last trip I'll get to make. I saw more deer than I've seen in a long time. Yesterday was loaded with rut activity from smaller deer. This morning I rattled up a mature buck that never would come in so a couple hours later I got down and went after him. Sounds insane I know but I knew he was headed to the area a couple of my cameras were in and had a strong feeling it was the deer I was after. Didn't think I would actually see him. I was walking up a ridge when is doe shot across 29 yards away. Followed by a small seven I watched all day yesterday then followed by my target buck. He ran by at 20 yards. I shouted and grunted to no avail. I watched the seven point for a while and a couple of other bucks came around but nothing too big. I hooked around where he went to and checked my camera. Sat down and a doe walked 25 yards from me. He never came with her though. I waited it out about an hour

That big 6 might have lost an eye unless it's just a weird angle

He has. Here's more pics and another one eyed willy. Six point lost his eye last year or the year before. Was an 8 two years ago
