My daughter wanted a fly rod for Christmas last year. I got her a pink one at Bass Pro. With her out of town at school and working we finally got to go yesterday. I got her started casting and she missed several bluegills on a top water spider. She finally connected this afternoon. She is still getting the hang of casting but with a few more trips she ought to be doing well.
