i hear this all the time, "you need to prune those suckers because they produce no fruit and suck energy out of the plant" pretty much incorrect but you do need to prune a few to keep the plant ventilated and to keep disease down. i prune the first five or so up to the first bloom set and ill also prune the first bloom set to promote more growth.
