Bunches of fine old southern guns here in Knoxville. Several contemporary builders are here also. Barrel makers Rice, Rayl, and Burton too... good stuff. One fellow is selling traditional hunting pouches and has several out of bark tanned groundhog hides... very neat...need to get a pic.

Stopped by after work with a friend. Saw some friends from Friendship. Unfortunately, 30 minutes after arriving the 6pm dinner took all the display table folks out of the rooms and to dinner. So, we just walked around looking at what we could that wasn't covered up as it seemed over for the day.
Nice to see some interesting pieces and spoke to some nice folks..

Here's the pouch. Also ended up ordering a .29 caliber round ball barrel from Charlie Burton which should be the start of a one heck of a squirrel gun.

Cool looking pouch! A .29 cal should make a fine squirrel rifle.

Swamped barrel ? Length ? Tn or SMR profile?

SMR patterned after a real slim swamped original x 44" long and a suitable extra length tang.

I had to work but would have loved to have gone.

I had Charlie Burton build me a .44 caliber barrel a couple of years back. I haven't done anything with it yet but it is a great looking barrel.
