Well, with most of the small rivers bank to bank, NWTN got about a 2 inch rain in an hour and a half last night. A big backwater is all but guaranteed. As many of you know, this is detrimental to the nesting/hatch success.
I've written commissioners for years asking them to consider lowering the limit in the counties that these rivers flow through, 2 consecutive years after a Spring flood. Never received even a courteous response.
