I had 9 long beards come by me Saturday morning. It usually don't get in my brain until end of February when I'm tournament fishing and listening to them at daybreak. I love turkey hunting but want the whole show. Nothing gets your heart pumping like a big Tom spitting and drumming on top of you. The anticipation and suspense is what it's about to me.

Glad to see the 2 bird limit and season pushed back already paying off
Yep! Good thing Chamberlain figured it out for us! Now hens are getting bred and turkeys are on the rebound.Lol, Come on April 15th! I can't wait to get after em. Good to see all the positive post!

The pushed back season and 2 bird limit has had had little to no effect...it was just implemented.
Preach…turkey populations go up and down irregardless of limits and season dates. None of Chamberlains theories have been proven. Only thing proven to consistently increase the number of turkeys via increasing the number of poults via increasing the number of eggs that don't get destroyed are by trapping predators. So this whole "Praise the savior Chamberlain" crap is BS. Good to see all the turkeys out there that had nothing to do with the theory

Working on the right choke / ammo combinations for a G2 automatic in 410 gauge.
I can see already it's going be a lot nicer carrying up the mountains of East TN than the 12 gauge 870 I carried for years. Only thing ir hurts is my billfold !
Indian Creek .385 and Apex #9.5. That should put a thumping on old Tom

Been thinking of spring for about a month now, this season has been the worst for me as I have not laid eyes on a deer while hunting, had 2 toms come in on me on public land during muzzleloader, I am more than ready for some turkey, just hope its going to be better than my deer season has been.
