Yep. Some carry spots a loooong time.

Definitely a late born fawn. I suspect a fawn of last year's fawn that was bred very late in the year. Thanks for sharing.
I had one on cam in Mid Feb with spots. It looked to be month old. I thought I had pics of a doe in Nov & Dec that looked prego. I've seen 3 bucks chasing a doe opening day of turkey season 4 years ago.

We are finding tiny deer tracks in lots of places right now. I think that it was BSK that once said that it is highly likely that a doe is bred in every month in the state of TN. I've seen spotted fawns in several different months that surprised me in TN

Fawn births have been reported in every month of the year in the Southeast. Nature gets around to trying everything.

I should have taken pictures of the tracks I saw in the snow a couple of weeks ago. Im almost 100 % sure they were fawn tracks.
