SOUTH CHEROKEE
Bear - boar - gun - dogs permitted - Four hunts. Oct. 5�6,
17�18, Nov. 2�5, [color:#FF0000]Dec. 3�16[/color]. One bear, either sex. One boar, either sex.
Hunting confined to that area outside the Ocoee and Tellico Bear Reserves.
Party Dog Area closed during scheduled quota party dog hunts.
For those of us that took off from work for the second week of Muzzle Loader.
I have not hunted South Cherokee for many years but I have been talking to many people that hunt there and they tell me that there are more bears there this year than there have been for a long time. I am wondering if any other folks that were planning on hunting deer with a MZ are thinking about hunting South Cherokee for Bear and Boar that week.
