All of my 8 daughters and my wife prefer venison over beef…too bad their dad is only skilled enough to kill a few a year. We ran out of the three I killed last fall in early February this year. Poorhunter is Cherokee for "hungry family" 🤣
Buddy you know tntreeman is Indian for deer kililn machine. I'll kill you as many as you need. You let me know when your ready .

You can cook it more ways than just ground. I do whole muscle roasts, that way I can slice into steaks, jerky, or crock pot roasts. We eat it at least 1x/ week plus leftovers. Probably 3-4 by the time it's said and done…

Had meatloaf tonight. We have 1 deer ground/year.

Below is a blackened blackstrap I do with eggs. I found a recipe in an old cookbook for the seasoning. Sear on all sides, and 5 min in the oven in a cast iron pan at 350*.
