Lives in my subdivision in south MS. Have seen her off and on past month, but 1st time to take a pic of her. She just walked thru backyard.

She seems healthy, although her bag has to be 30lbs.

Dang, that's got to be uncomfortable. But I've seen many people with more excess fat on their bodies than 30 lbs.

Could be, but I'm guessing it's a hernia.
I don't think that's it either... a hernia that size would have ALL her guts in it. And her sides aren't sunken in bad, which means her guts are in place.

I'm guessing it's a benign tumor of the udder. Based on how healthy she acts. She'll eventually rip it off and die, or will heal back up and be fine.

Google "pics of deer with a hernia"....... you'll see why I think that is what it is.
