not bad for ammo I had loaded for a bolt rifle,,165 Sierra GKBTHP and 43,5 grs Varget,,

now I am not sure I will even put any kind of optics at all on this weapon..

Springfield recommends a 150 gr bullet and 41 grs IMR 4895,,so I guess thats where I am headed .

the hole in the peep is huge,,for close quarters fighting,,not target shooting for sure..

it is loud for sure but with the brake it is a fluffy kittens cat to shoot.

they are actually the toughest bullet Sierra makes

we have some stuff to bridge the gap from the 338 down to the CQB rifles..

loaded some today with the Nosler 168 J4 BTHP Match and IMR 4895 powder..

borrowed my Brothers Gen 4 mount and Daddys ARMS mount to mount a couple diferent scopes to test ammo for accuracy,,when i get the best load figured out I plan to go back to the battle sights,,unless the 2.5X Leupold IER Scope Daddy loaned me to mount on the Scout rail really impresses me.which could happen I suppose.
