Shooting a 30.06 with Nosler Trophy Grade ammo with a 180 or 165 grain accubond bullet I zero at 210 yds (200 meters), it's 2 inches high at 105 yds (100 meters).........& gives me point blank to 250 yds with just a slight hold over out to 300 yards. Takes the guess work out of any shot I'm likely to have.

I zero at 100 yards and then I adjust my turret to 200 yards if I hunt over a big field or I leave my turret at 0 (100 yards) if I'm in the woods or a small field.

A 100 yard zero will not be affected by the wind or temp as much as a 200 yard zero.

By using a chronograph and knowing some info from your chosen bullet you can zero at 100 and be all good. I have these sheets for each of my rifles.

This. I just recently installed my cds dial from leupold. It's sopposed to Just dial range and let it fly. Woods set up I leave on 100. If I can see a long way I turn it to 200 and adjust if needed.
