should I cut the wheat or leave it standing

my food plots are really thrivng with the rain. The clover up under the wheat is doing well. Should I cut the wheat or leave it standing. The heads don't appear to have much eating on them but I see turkeys in the field everytime I check them. They are getting so thick that I thought the turkeys would prefer some clipping of the fields.

i planted some couple years ago and mowed strips through so half was still standin. turkeys liked it.

I let it stand.you would be amzed at how much turkeys will use it. Wait until there is nothing left on the heads before mowing.

Yes...last year I hit 8 eggs early on and saw some small deer fumbling out of the way.
