I had a Ruger Standard 4 inch that was marked 1776-1976 Bicentennial,,back in the 80s that someone stole from my truck at a swimming hole in Smith Co.

I had a Ruger Standard 4 inch that was marked 1776-1976 Bicentennial,,back in the 80s that someone stole from my truck at a swimming hole in Smith Co.

I own that very pistol that I bought in 1976. My father in law "borrowed" it and when he passed away, I had to get it back from an in-law (or outlaw in this case). Caused quite a family squabble.
