Round ball in a sabot ?

Today as I was clean out my muzzleloading tool box. I had a loose round ball that slipped inside a sabot. I though to my self that it would be neat to try. So later I googled it and found that they do make such a thing . Is never heard of it before. Any one here tried it ?

I think it was Hornady that made those. I have wanted to try it just haven't gotten around to it.
