I'd like to shoot some 185gr XTPs out of a muzzleloader. The sabots I have are too long and get pinched between my aligner and the barrel.

Is there a source for a short sabot. 45cal bullet. 50cal rifle.

Thanks!

Which one is short? I can't see it mentioned on the site. I have many of the standard black sabots.

They make two lengths, an HPH12 and a HPH24.
The MMP "Short Black". Main difference in the 12 and 24 is loaded OD. Not the length. The "savage recommended" short sabot though is much shorter. It may be really tight though in many bores.

Thanks guys! If someone is inclined, I'd love to find the short black MMPs on their site. I tried and can't tell which ones are short.

What happened to picking up a telephone and making a call?
That's making a big assumption the person answering is actually competent. I would rather email and they can ask whoever they need to and get back to me as opposed to giving me a quick answer over the phone.
