Ok so I use these in the 1" a lot.
Thought I would try the 3" to see if larger crappie would show themselves.
For the 1" I use a 1/64th ounce trout magnet head.
Just curious if anyone has used these.

I tried them after hearing how much you love the small ones. I rigged them on a 1/8 or 1/4 ounce jighead. They catch fish no doubt, but I didn't find them to be any more effective than the Bobby Garland Baby Shad or similar shad imitators. For the price and dealing with getting the juice on my hands, I didn't think they were worth it. Just my $0.02.

i use the 2.5" in late winter and very early spring. they work about as well as the alive 1" for me, but i use the 1" more for bluegill and shellcracker anyway.

different jig weights but i do like a scicle hook for those.

I have used those with 1/4 head for fishing deep standing timber. But found they are so soft you better be ready to replace them with every fish like live bait.
