If I wanted to go with a larger one can I just plug everything back up and it work ?

Someone way smarter than me will chime in but i would say yes especially if you are staying with the same series unit you have now.

Yes,may have to change out the power cord for the head unit.Some unit have different power cords.If you don't get a good pic after the swap you may have to update software in the box and unit also.

Some units have a 4 pin power cord and some have a two pin power cord....ask me how I know.
If you buy a new unit, it will come with the proper power cord. If they are different, you'll just have to connect the new cord to the battery.

My striker vivid 7sv and 106sv both had the same power cable...
Either my 1222 or my black box came with a little short adapter cable so whichever connection I had was covered.
I had my LS hooked to a 9" on the bow and the 10" at the console...and wanted to swap them. Everything was the same on one cable and on the other, I had to use an adapter. But that's been 2 years ago and I don't remember which one it was but I already had it for some reason so it was no biggie.
prolly need some 2/0 wire and 16v for the unit and a 12/28v switcher for the blackbox.:D
