Quarter bore for coyote, bullet suggestions?

Anyone using a .257 for coyote? Good bullet suggestions? Looks like 100 gr I should be able to get to around 3200 and 87 grain to about 3300... according to the books. I know either one will work, just looking for something new. 400 yrds probably the max, with most considerably less. Cartridge is a 25 wssm. I don't use the pelts, so don't care about damage. Thanks

I would use 100 gr nosler ballistic tips .I have shot several with that bullet from 2506 at 3400 fps and it will anchor them down where they stand

Is that the "hunting" or "varmint" ballistic tips? Thanks

i think all the 100 grs are hunting,,the ones I used were for sure as I deer hunted with them also

i tried the 75 gr Hornady HP and 87 Sierras and never could get them to shoot as good as the 100 gr,,

I've heard several people say the same thing. Must be the twist. I would imagine most have 1 in 10".
