Problem with T/C encore - powder

have been shooting Hodgdon triple 7 for years using 3-30 gr pellets and power belt sabots .
last week all the dealer had was Hodgdon 50/50 pyrodex pellets , so I figured 2 pellets would be close .same sabots , first shot missed a plate at 30 yds . Second was abt a foot low , third after I adjusted scope , was correct up/down but abt 10:in right .
Has anyone experienced this . Would change in pellets make it shoot that bad ? Thankfully it got too dark to shoot the 4th one .
any help or advice is appreciated .

I would check and make sure all my mounts and screws were tightened down correctly. If so, I would then check my scope. Also a clean barrel. I have shot the pellets and loose powder and have not had those results. Something is definitely not tight or the scope is gone. To me, I would strongly suspect the scope..

Sounds like your scope died. I've lots of experience with encore ml. 9 times out of 10 that's the problem.

Agreed. I had a pellet rifle that would drive tacks at 50 yards.One day I picked it up and couldn't hit the target at all, something inside the optic has come loose.

I used solvent to clean my TC barrel, and it started shooting again....

My Problem was about 20yrs of plastic fouling. I ran Acetone through mine and it cleared up.
