Plant question

When you buy squash or cucumber plants in four or six packs many times in each little spot there are two or three plants. Do any of yall attempt to separate them and try to get more out of em? I've tried before but wind up just making a mess.

Separate them very carefully. After planting water them good. Some will wilt just leave them alone

I pick my tomato starts that way on purpose and separate them out. Works for me!
