For those of us "stuck" locally in middle TN and not heading west, any activity or new birds being spotted here in middle TN on Old Hickory or Priest? Not exactly duck havens I know but thought I'd check if anyone is seeing anything...

I'm in KY but just about due north of OH & middle TN. Driving back from the game on Sunday and driving to work on Monday of this week I saw a ton of water. Middle parts of both states seem to have gotten the brunt of the rain and there were thousands of new places for ducks to hide. I think we had a small push of birds in before season opened. I think they got their asses shot off & then had all this new water to explore so it appears we have less than what we really have. On the grand scheme I think we're stuck in the middle like usual. Majority of early migratory passed us up for greener pastures down south & the hardy birds haven't had enough weather to make them move yet. Just my .02 on the matter.
