Neighbors and fences

I would go and talk to him and see what he has to say even if you end up fixing it yourself. I would expect payment, fencing is not cheap these days. I would not fix it and say nothing. He needs to know that he will not get away with tearing up your property in the future. People do not realize the work that goes into building fence.

I'd fix it myself and tell the neighbor to get screwed if he ever asked for anything again.
