In the market for a tiller new or used. I'm off exit 15 of I-40 but would go some distance depending on variables.

Would prefer a rear tine but have used a front-tine since the early 80's.

Anyone have hands-on experience with "Champion" brand tillers?

The toro horse is the best cause they are the beast. I bought a husky rear tone that has been reliable about 6 years ago. It has dual rotating tones where they can go forwards or backwards. It has a Honda engine that has been easy to start each season. To me the biggest thing is being able to grease and having the option of tine reversibility. My parents have a toro now that is rear tine with backwards only and they have issues of it not cultivating and digging to deep where you walk.

Troy bilt bronco crt is what I have and have used it for several years, probably close to 20 years now. The super bronco, I think had forward rt and cr tines, not sure if that model is still made. Lowe's usually has a good selection.
