Missouri mud ain’t that bad

Pppffft eeerrbody talking about how bad the mud is over there.
I got out of the truck and walked to the other side to get my waders out.
After we got done I spent about 10 minutes scrubbing my feet in the dry grass to clean my boots off.
Worked from 3:30 this morning till about 1:30 wearing my boots.
This is what they look like at 2:15 this afternoon.
Guess I will get a screwdriver and hammer on them now.
Not bad at all.

Yep, that Obion & Lake County mud can be as bad as anything in Missouri.

I got roped into duck hunting a place in Mississippi one time where the mud was nutsack deep. Every step. And we had to go way back in there. We killed the heck out of them that day but I never went back. It just wasn't worth it.
