Picked this morning....cucumber, squash, zucchini and okra....then this afternoon while pruning discovered more cucumber and squash....and the one tomatoe....kitchen island is filling up....had a chicken casserole with fried okra tonight and a cold cucumber side salad....enjoying the fresh produce.Ate 2 romas tonight with a salad, picked and sliced cucumber and grilled chicken. Tons of grape tomatoes coming in. More potatoes than I can eat. Everything is coming in at once. Taking notes for next year.
We do the same but we cheat a little and use the Kraft Tuscan House Italian Dressing over the cucumber, tomatoe and mozzarella.....and for the mozzzarella we buy the cheese sticks and slice them into small sections.....we'll fix a big bowl and eat on it several days... for lunch I'll hard boil a couple eggs and have a big bowl cucumber salad....delicious.A sliced tomato and sliced cucumber with salt and pepper are the Grace of God. Even more, a sliced tomato with a thinly sliced piece of mozzarella and basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic…my goodness!

Same, absolutely love them.Had a bacon & tomato sandwich last night.
I love the Cherokee Purple but it sure has a high spoilage rate. I probably only get to eat 1 out of 3.Love this time of year....these are heirloom varieties I started from seed.
