Leveling a duck hole!

Did you hunt Webb bottom when Levi owned it. Those are the days I heave heard about growing up. Back in the willows in the spring cut when everything else froze up.

Yes I did for a couple of years. Then my dad was one of the original 10 that bought it from Levi.

Final setting of the drain in the hole now that everything has settled. The hole falls to the north then rains to the east. From the laser at the drain you are looking at 1 foot of rise over 600 feet of run. I could not make this 2 inch in 100 ft grade without a laser level.

From the east end looking west. The millet has filled in well and the deer wiped out the buckwheat as soon as it put on leaves. The dark spot left of center is the blind.
