I could never get them shaving sharp…with that said I ran them on a flat diamond stone then on an Arkansas Wet stone and they worked fine for my wife at 42lb draw. She now shoots Magnus Hornets I believe, they are very very sharp.Bought some Montec G5's in 125 grain last month. I've heard they are hard to sharpen, what do you guys think?
Man I don't know why I ever got away from them. They never failed me and they were cheap! Sometimes the grass ain't always greener…Been using muzzy 100gr for over 20 years probably only switch if they go out of business. I buy replacement blades and keep one or 2 that I shot adeer with for coyote if I get the chance to swap arrows which doesn't normally happen.
I picked up a bunch at Walmart 2 years ago after season on sale for$7 a3 pack. I've had they go through bone in and out blood is always good. I think they are reasonably priced at regular price looking at 40 after tax for half dozen. What do you all spend on your Brodheads.Man I don't know why I ever got away from them. Both great heads! You'll have better blood trails IMO with the exodus.Been shooting swhacker since they came out with good results, but changed my arrows this yr to heavier with more FOC and will either go with magnus stinger or exodus 125s.
I find them super easy to sharpen. I place the head on a stone with 2 of the blades on the stone, run them up and down the stone, rotate, do same, rotate, etc.Bought some Montec G5's in 125 grain last month. I've heard they are hard to sharpen, what do you guys think?
