you prolly had these before, i call em tre bones. the only way to cook them is on wood or coals. the best short ribs ever.

i dont have the recipe but its similar to yours without the red paste sauce though. i saved the marinade and used it on deer meat and it was flavor explosion, i was told kiwi was one of the ingredients saying it makes the meat very tender.
i love korean food, but there aint none here where i am, only in nashville

Korean BBQ and Chinese bakeries are what I miss the most about Hawai'i.

Korea House on Charlotte in Nashville is pretty decent, but I'd kill for some Soon's Kal-Bi!

There's another place called Seoul Garden across Nolensville from Southern Hills Medical Center that is also pretty good, and a much nicer restaurant (furnishings wise) than Korea House.

I saw those at Whole Paycheck.....I mean Whole Foods last weekend. It looked good. I just can't remember what they called them. Pretty cheap, too....$2.99/lb or something crazy.
