Kentucky hunters, we are 3 sits in. What kind of action have you seen? My son and I are in Christian county, we are seeing small bucks chasing does and very skittish does. Saw a 2 year old 7point locked down with a doe in a pasture. No mature bucks being seen in the area. I think we may be in peak breeding, lock down. I don't hunt here all the time so any inside is helpful. Hopefully they will start busting off in a few days

We're in Hopkins co. Definitely seeing the younger deer cruising more, a few mature ones have been seen on our place, one shot.
Hard to give an accurate assessment tho bc our herd of mature deer this year are a big underwhelming.
Yesterday morning they were running good, yesterday afternoon almost nothing moved. Today has been okay so far. One 3.5 yr old 8 point cruised by around 8 oclock

Hickmann County and I've seen the same. Saw 20 deer this morning. 3 were 2.5 year olds chasing. No bucks worth shooting have been seen.
