blacks are spooky. on average ky lake is about 60-70% black crappie but before livescope very few folks could catch them.

got a place that i wade fish when water drops out. at most it is two feet of mud under two feet of water. tough wading. but the fish get into the stick-ups, stake beds etc. we have never caught a black crappie in there. have had white crappie hit within 6 feet of us...
