I am on a "Reelfoot Lake" page on the book of face.
Can't really say I am surprised at this.
They are having a crappie tournament the end of April and there are two different classes you can enter.

"Old school" where no forward facing sonar is allowed. Ie: garmin livescope, hummingbird live and Lowrance active target.
"Open class" where any electronics are allowed.

Just found that interesting.

The results will be interesting to see how many fish are caught out of each class.
Some of them old school crappie fisherman that know the lake will do good.
Reelfoot is to far from me but it looks like a really good lake.

Yea, an East Tennessee crappie circuit starting doing that last year as well. They felt that lots of "Non-Livescopers" didn't want to enter competing against LiveScopers. I'm not sure if the change increased their overall entries or not. And in the tournaments I knew of, LiveScopers far outnumbered the Non-LiveScopers.
