If you looked at someone's boat with it installed you wouldn't be confused at all. It's pretty simple. The transducer and graph plug into the black box. The graph and the black box have a power cable that goes to a battery. That's it. Now, how you run the wires, mount the graph, and install the black box and transducer can be different on every boat.
