Hunting License Date

Since hunting license are good from 9-19 to 9-19, does that mean if I want to shoot a velvet buck then I have to save one of my tags from this season since I can't purchase a new license until after the velvet hunt next year...? That had me a little confused this year when I went to purchase license for velvet hunt...

No. When you use a tag it'll say 2023. Next velvet season that tag would say 2024.
