Not sure where you hunt, but in my CWD world and neighbors shooting anything with horns, I'd take him.

The way he is bristled up and his posture in general makes me think there was another buck just outside the pic

That buck walked in front of me I would shoot him. Lot of meat at that boy.

With a body that size, I'd probably pop him at any time I saw him if I had a tag. Big old bucks like that impress me, regardless of antler size. He looks pretty neat to me.

Understand he got good genes
My brother and I have been blessed the last several years to see and take like 4 mature bucks on our farm in W TN and that is a trophy to us. We only mounted one because the rack was very impressive and seemed to match his body and age. That is a very mature buck and he would be dead if he passed in front of my stand
