Hog hunting - hunting leases

Hello, I am an avid hog hunter and am going to retire to Tennessee. I was wondering what part of the state would have the most hogs - thinking about buying some acres near a good spot. Also, does Tennessee offer good hunting leases? If I can't get a decent property for 200k, I was thinking about doing a hunting lease. Thanks!

got hogs at Tellico around Indian Boundary Lake. have seen them (and bears) within a hundred yards or so of the campground and dam. you are -very- close to the GSMNP there however. you can get there pretty quick hiking up into Citico ...rough country, lots of snakes. beautiful though...

It is very interesting hogs haven't made it more into Tennessee. Neighboring states Georgia, Alabama. Mississippi, Arkansas and North Carolina are all in the top 10 states with most feral hog populations. I wonder why they haven't invaded TN quite as much?

Hard to believe if you knew where.
