i hate what microwave defrost does to ground beef. i plop a pound in a pan let it brown on one side, flip it over and start chopping it with this thing. works pretty good.
I do too!
In fact we hardly ever freeze ground chuck. Just pick it up fresh as we want / need it.

My wife decided she needed one of these. I was skeptical but after using it when browning ground turkey in the skillet, I'll admit it helped out a bunch in breaking it up.

I use one of these! I love mine. Wife does as well.
Not sure what it's called had for a long time. It's a plastic pot with lid and has drain holes made by pampered chef. It will cook burger/ sausage in a about 3min in microwave

What is that, a butt-out tool? I'd never thought about using it in the kitchen, but it looks like it does a good job.
lol, id hate to use it for one. those plastic blades will knock a digit off if you miss a lick.
