Right before Covid hit I was in the market for a new 6" 686. So I was keeping track of the prices to see where/when I should buy. Of course, when CRB hit (Covid/Riots/Biden) prices went though the roof on everything and nothing was in stock.

For the first time since January of 2020, while the MSRP has gone up a few bucks, the retail prices have dropped substantially and the three main places I order from have all five of the 686 models I was tracking in stock. While these are around $200 higher than they were in 2019, the prices are dropping.

This availability has not happened since 2019.

In a river hopefully!
Extra money going towards rent and food. Excess pistol folks are unloading for those reasons and the fact FJB will executive order shutting down private sales. So supply and demand strikes again.

Good for folks with some cash wanting to add to the stable

One thing we all have to realize, and this is a fact even if it isn't written down!!
JOE BIDEN ISN'T RUNNING THIS COUNTRY!!
Every meeting and conference he attends is totally embarrassing as he is completely lost and has to be guided by either Secret Service or one of his staff. And even if he was of sound mind, he would still be doing exactly as he is told!

I've bought quite a few in the last 3 months... if I can sell a couple rifles I'll acquire a couple more things and then pump the brakes. I think things will get a little crazy again closer to the election and maybe dry gun stuff up for awhile, just don't know to what degree.

I think used sales might be causing the greater availability of new. Rumors run wild about the BATF stopping private sales without a background check. I think that might happen. It might be a last ditch effort for Biden since his warped mind probably thinks it will help him. I don't think that will stand SCOTUS scrutiny, but even so that could take a long time.

I just got a 686 plus with a 3 inch barrel for $750 out the door yesterday. They had to order it and I should have it by next weekend. Add the $75 rebate on top of that and I feel like I got a good deal.
