First from my garden

Thanks to Catman and the great job he did for me in tilling up my garden space I hadn't used in several years, my wife and I put in a garden this spring. I guess maybe because it had sat fallow for a while, just about everything really took off. Aside from having to turn a couple of groundhogs that were eating my zucchini plants into coyote carrion, it has been a pretty easy deal so far.

We went on family vacation last week, and got back last night. When we checked today, we found stuff really came on while we were gone. I just enjoyed some of the first cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes of the year. If we can continue to water or get some decent rains, it looks like it was worth the trouble.

That's awesome. I got started a little late. About the only thing ready now is squash. One cool thing that happened this year is I have a ton of watermelon plants volunteering from last years seed. They are all throughout my corn.
