FFL question..ordering online..

can you go to the local FFL agent and "pre certify"..or whatever..or do you have to have the gun and online dealer info to have the check ran..i want to order one off line(noone local has it in stock)..and i want it to be as fast as possible..thanks

Pretty sure you will have to have the gun in hand when the ffl of your choice runs your background check.... since they give the feds all the gun info... along with all your info.

Not sure if your aware, but there is a new gunshop in Big Sandy. Don't know the name or what he carries since I haven't been there yet personally, but my uncle opened it.... in the old feed store I believe if you know where that was.

The seller will require a copy of the FFL he/she is shipping to. The firearm is shipped to FFL holder, you go, pay a transfer fee, paperwork is done, you leave with gun. Voila.

If you order from Buds or somewhere like them they will give a list of preferred FFL's to ship to and more than likely there is one in your area. You pay online they ship the gun and the gun shop calls when it comes in (from my experience with Bud's about 3-4 days) you do the paper work there and take the gun home.
