In my opinion yes. Seed wheat is cleaned and sorted. You'll have better germination and weed free seed. One thing of caution this year is farmers had trouble with wheat diseases and quality of their wheat this spring that would make it more worthwhile to buy the seed wheat. Just my opinion
The feed wheat I buy from the local co op is clean and have no trouble spreading it. $6.50 for a 50 lb bag and grows on a rock , can't beat it as long as they eat it.
